Celebrating as our Founder & CEO, Dr. Zareen is Named Social Business Woman of the Year

We're very happy to share some incredible news from the recent NatWest & Pioneers Post WISE100 (Women in Social Enterprise) awards ceremony, where our very own Dr. Zareen Roohi Ahmed, founder and CEO of Gift Wellness, was honoured as Social Business Woman of the Year. 

Zareen's achievements extend beyond this award as she was also highly commended in the Equality and Empowerment Champion category. This acknowledgment underscores her tireless advocacy for gender equality, reflecting her commitment to fostering inclusivity and empowerment in every aspect of her work.

The awards ceremony, held at NatWest's headquarters in London, served as a platform to showcase inspiring accomplishments and facilitate crucial discussions surrounding social impact. It was a testament to the remarkable achievements of women leaders in the social enterprise sector and emphasised the importance of their contributions to creating positive change in society.

As we celebrate our founder's well-deserved recognition, we are reminded of the collective effort needed to build a more inclusive and equitable future in social enterprise. Zareen's success serves as both inspiration and motivation for all of us to continue our commitment to driving meaningful change and uplifting marginalised communities.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful customers who have been integral to our journey and impact. Through your support, we have been able to donate over 6.5 million menstrual products to women in need, providing essential support to those in homeless shelters, refugee camps, food banks, and schools.

Dr. Zareen's recognition as Social Business Woman of the Year is a testament to her exceptional leadership, innovation, and dedication to creating positive social change.
